Persaic · Common questions

What buyers ask in the first call.

What does Persaic actually do?
Persaic is a production system for ecommerce imagery and video. It takes a single shot of a product and generates the full content set a catalogue needs: cutouts, lifestyle staging, on-model fashion imagery, missing variants, and short product video. It is built to replace the studio day, not the brand campaign.
What kinds of products work best in Persaic?
Anything that has been photographed clearly on a neutral background. Lighting, homewares, fashion, FMCG, beauty, eyewear and accessories all work today. Heavy macro-fabric detail, complex translucency and certain hair textures still benefit from a real shoot — the right operating model is hybrid: real capture for the upstream brand asset, Persaic for the downstream catalogue volume.
Do we keep the rights to imagery generated in Persaic?
Yes. Imagery generated for a customer in Persaic belongs to the customer. The synthetic models are licensed for use across the customer's channels with no per-impression or per-publish fees. We can also produce on-brand custom synthetic models locked to a single brand, so the same face can be carried across seasons.
How fast can Persaic deliver a catalogue?
A standard catalogue of 100 SKUs with 4 looks per SKU runs in days, not weeks. The first batch typically lands within 48 hours of clean source photography; the brand reviews, marks up, and Persaic re-renders. Full season catalogues that historically took eight to ten weeks of studio work move to a one-week cycle.
Who is using Persaic today?
Persaic is in production at Liquid Lighting, where it runs the full catalogue imagery pipeline including the Mezmerize and Nolden Brothers vendor lines. Several other South African retailers are in onboarding. References are available on request under NDA.
